Instructor Background

Jessica has been teaching piano in her home studio and Faith's Center for the Performing Arts for over 10 years. She has served students of many diverse ages and levels, and has taught a wide variety of styles and repertoire. She has been passionately interested in piano study for many years and has served as piano accompanist for several church choirs.

Jessica received her bachelor of music in piano performance from Rochester College, where she studied under Dr. Joe Bentley, Dr. Jean Randall, and Dr. Hammerling. She received the Freshman Music Major Award and continued to show a high capacity for music and leadership as she was elected to serve as choral section leader and president of Rochester College's nationally renowned A Cappella Chorus. She graduated with highest honors.

Jessica is an active member of the Music Teachers National Association, Michigan Music Teachers Association, the Livonia Area Piano Teachers Forum, and the American Guild of Music.
